The instruments must belong to the same project as your measuring point.
AvaTrace instruments will also be selectable even if their current configuration does not match what is required for the measuring point. Certain criteria must still be met, such as an adequate number of channels that are not already connected to a measuring point.
When you create a new measuring point and connect an AvaTrace instrument, the instrument is configured to fit the type of measuring point. Affected channels are activated automatically.
For other instrument types, the configuration must match what is required for the measuring point.
Always check the instrument’s settings before measurements are begun to ensure that measurement takes place as desired.
